We often get requests for people to participate in research into depression. This page has been set up to put people who are interested in taking part in research in touch with researchers. If you want to advertise your research on this page, please contact us at markd@dascot.org . All research must be approved by a reputable organisation and researchers must respect participants' confidentiality. Participants must be able to change their minds at any time.

If you would like to take part in this study it will involve filling in a questionnaire which will measure social anxiety level, relationships, loneliness and overall quality of life and should take about 15 minutes at the most complete.

Therapies?
Eliane Du, a
PhD student, is currently looking for people who have used or are
currently using internet-based self-help websites for improving their
mental well-being. She wants to find out your views on such websites:
how you use/used them; whether they help/helped you; and what you
like/liked or did not like about them. She is also interested to hear from people who looked at such
sites but did not begin to use them, or people who stopped using them or
did not complete the course.
What Will This Involve?
She would like
to interview you about your experiences. This would be done online using
Email, Skype, or Instant Messenger (whatever you prefer).
