About our rebrand
Depression Alliance Scotland has become Action on Depression
On 15 June 2011, we changed our identity from Depression Alliance Scotland to Action on Depression. Here we answer some commonly asked questions
Why rebrand?
After speaking to a wide range of people we decided that the identity Action on Depression better represents the work that we do across Scotland to help people take action and recover from depression.
How can you afford to rebrand?
Times are tight for us as they are for anyone and we could not have rebranded without the following people who worked for us for no charge. We are grateful to them all and could not do it without them. They are:
- Corporate PRM who worked with us to develop our new identity for free
- Howie Findlay who designed and coded the new website.
- Steve Cullen of Standard Life who worked on information architecture and search engine optimisation for the website.
- Ruth Stevenson of Ruthless Research who conducted a stakeholder survey and market research
We feel that our new identity as a distinct Scottish organisation working with and for people living with depression will help us to attract funding. If you want to support us, please make a donation
