About DAS
Depression Alliance Scotland is the only Scottish organisation working with and for people affected by depression. We are a user-led organisation commited to providing support, raising awareness of depression and treatment options and reducing the stigma that still surrounds the condition.

Services
We run an phone and email helpline , self help support groups in three Scottish cities and also run Living Life to the Full courses based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in the Highlands, Lothian and online.
Our successful Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Son, Daughter, Lover, Friend... YOU?, Look OK...Feel Crap? and Getting On, Not Getting Down campaigns have encouraged people to seek help for their depression. In addition we are a member of the Cross Party Group on mental health.

Funding
We receive funding from the Scottish Government, from charitable trusts and from donations from individuals. Find out more about our funders. We do not accept funding from the pharmaceutical industry.

DAS has at present has five full time staff, five part time staff, and we couldn't manage without our volunteers.
